The Atlas of Chicago is the result of a group project for the course in Multimedia Cartography in spring 2016. It has been implemented by Heinz Gnehm, Konstantinos Schoinas, and Giulio Tagliaferro under the supervision of Hansruedi Bär, René Sieber, and Nadia Panchaud.
The aim of the project was to display statistical data about crime, ethnicity, and socioeconomic indicators for the city of Chicago with web map technologies. It is meant to be consulted by citizens, urban planners, and any persons interested in these topics.
